15 Programs To Schedule Your Tweets on Twitter!

Free-Twitter-Tools-to-Schedule-Your-Tweets-600x280Why should you schedule Tweets?

Scheduling tweets gives marketers and community managers flexibility when managing their Twitter accounts. You can schedule tweets to post on mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, when you need to nip out for lunch and any other inconvenient times you can think of (i.e. if you need to post in the middle of the night to market to a different timezone). It also gives you freedom to break up the flow of tweets, making them consistent throughout the week. This means that you can plan content in advance to devote precious time that would normally be spent on social media elsewhere.

What is Tweet scheduling?

Tweet scheduling is the ability to publish content at any time automatically, without the need to have staff around to compose and publish them. As long as the tweet has been written and queued up ready to be tweeted, it’s all taken care of. We’ve highlighted our favorite tools to help you schedule tweets, so you can be confident in tweet scheduling.
schedule2 Scheduling tweets is a great way to manage your business. You can take 10 to 30 minutes scheduling for the day, week or for a month. This allows you to focus more on engagement and interaction with your followers whenever you share new content. You can do this for free through many Twitter scheduling tools. Here are 15 programs to schedule future tweets on Twitter to maximize your social media networking efforts.

logo-smallTweeting Machine allows you to schedule tweets, set up auto reply tweets and tweet queues. I like this program for the tweet queue option, which allows you to enter a large number of tweets and schedule to share them with your followers within minutes, hours or days. This is only a 24 hour  trial.

HaruTweet is similar to Tweeting Machine. a way to schedule daily, weekly or monthly tweets. You create streams that consists of a tweet queue and a schedule. It will send out your tweet 1 time per day, week or month at the specific time that you choose.

ManageFlitter is a critically acclaimed program that offers Twitter Tools to over 3 million people. They allow Twitter users to schedule future tweets, Unfollow, Follow, Bio Search & Analytics. You can compose a list of future tweets. You can set up to 2 recurring tweets for free. You can schedule unlimited future tweets.

Twuffer allows Twitter uses to compose a list of future tweets.

Future Tweets is a website that lets you schedule tweets individually. You do need to “sign up” for the service (and grant access to your Twitter account), but once you’ve signed in, scheduling your tweet is as easy as typing it out, choosing the date and time, and clicking schedule. FutureTweets is extremely basic — you can’t add media and it doesn’t automatically shorten links. But the service does keep a record of your past and future scheduled tweets.

Twit Timer allows you to schedule tweets, Facebook statuses and LinkedIn posts.

HootSuite is a free social media management tool that lets you schedule tweets (and Facebook posts and Instagram pics) for maximum impact. With the free version of Hootsuite, you can connect up to three different social media accounts and schedule your tweets in increments of five minutes. To schedule a tweet via Hootsuite, all you have to do is click the little calendar button and choose the date and time you want your tweet to go live. While you can attach photos to your Hootsuite tweets, they will show up as links rather than native Twitter images.

Buffer is another free social media management tool similar to Hootsuite, but with a few advantages. While I don’t love Buffer’s interface (Hootsuite acts as a dashboard where you can see multiple feeds, while Buffer makes you pay for this feature), its scheduling tools are a bit more advanced. For one thing, you can schedule tweets in Buffer down to the minute, instead of every five minutes, which makes them look a bit less premeditated. You can also add photos and videos to your tweets, which will show up as native Twitter images and videos.t4m

***Tweet4Me Schedule or Buffer a Tweet for any date, any time and from ANY Twitter application. This program works through Buffer.

TweetDeck is a free, simple Twitter-exclusive dashboard (that is now owned by Twitter). Like Hootsuite, TweetDeck acts as a hub where you can view multiple streams from your feed. You can also schedule tweets down to the minute, but TweetDeck doesn’t have an automatic scheduling tool or a calendar that you can set up — you’ll have to schedule each tweet individually. To schedule a tweet, just type your tweet out and hit Schedule Tweet, pick the date and time you want your tweet to air, and then click the Tweet button, which will now say Tweet at [date] or Tweet at [time] (if your tweet is schedule for later the same day).

Dynamic Tweets allows individuals or businesses to enter future tweets and schedule them to be posted at a specified day and time.

Later Bro allows you to schedule recurring Facebook updates or schedule tweets from multiple Twitter accounts!

14 Blocks allows you to schedule tweets and Direct messages for free.

Pluggio makes it easy to schedule posts in advance to go out at an exact date and

PostCron schedule and publish posts on your social media accounts, simultaneously.
